“Trees teach us the generosity, bravery and beauty of letting go…”
― Andrea Koehle Jones, Environmental Education Advocate, Climate Journalist, Children’s Book Author
As autumn arrives, we find ourselves in a season of transition — when the trees remind us, with their vibrant colors, of the art of letting go with grace. This is a time of abundance, as nature offers us its harvest and we prepare to gather with gratitude for Thanksgiving.
With the return of fall also comes a renewed rhythm in our lives. Communities gather again, workshops and classes resume, and we are invited to reconnect with our practices — not only to learn, but to share, support, and grow together. Just as the trees prepare for new growth by shedding their leaves, this season invites us to release what no longer serves us and to step forward with clarity and intention.
We are delighted to share that this fall brings more opportunities to connect: an upcoming community meet-up, in-person courses offered in Quebec, and the release of another inspiring issue of the Brain Gym® France Journal. Each of these is a chance to engage, learn, and celebrate the spirit of movement and connection that unites us.
On behalf of Brain Gym® Canada, we warmly welcome you back. May this new season bring inspiration, balance, and a deep sense of gratitude for the gifts around us.*
Your devoted 2025 Brain Gym® Canada Board;
Céline, Dana, Janet, Joanne, Lisa & Sonya.

An Introduction to Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) with Karen MacKay
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), or “Tapping,” is a simple and gentle self-care tool that anyone can learn. By lightly tapping with your fingertips on certain points of your body, you can help calm stress, manage difficult emotions, and feel more balanced and peaceful—even in the midst of life’s ups and downs.
In this workshop, Karen will introduce us to the basics of EFT and we’ll experience it together. Bring your curiosity and let’s have some fun tapping together! You’ll take away easy-to-use techniques to help feel calmer, clearer, and more connected to your sense of well-being, so you can tap into emotional freedom anytime you need.
Karen MacKay brings a background in Brain Gym®, teaching and many years of experience working with a variety of mindbody techniques. She is a qualified Therapeutic Coach and has used EFT for many years with clients and also as part of her own personal wellbeing practices.
As always, no need to sign up, simply use the zoom link below to join us:

Presented by: Token Plaskett, Instructor of Brain Gym®, Touch for Health, and Instructor/Owner of Learningmoves
For years, Token Plaskett has been disputing the concept that life must always be difficult. She grew up in the Bioenergetic world, her mother a big player in the Edu-K world and her father being a chiropractor. With all these tools at her disposal, she was frustrated that when stressed out, she could simply no longer access her tools. So, she decided to create and share these simple techniques that you can take with you anywhere and access anytime. They become yours.
